“Material Beauty” (Diptych)

This is a photography diptych that contains two girls, holding up a mask of abstracted colors that symbolize beauty standards. I made the paintings on clear acrylic sheets, cut them up and instructed the models on how to hold them. I wanted the color schemes and objects to be slightly different, playing with different aspects of femininity.
