“Ocean of Confusion”

This pen and ink drawing captures a girl moving around the rapid ocean waves. I attempted to capture the movement and distortion that the ocean creates on the world. All of the shapes and lines are very organic and natural, just like the ocean. I found inspiration with the movement of the waves and the bubbles; I had to use many different techniques to represent them. The girl is done in the greatest detail. The pattern that the ocean creates is somewhat abstract and always unexpected.
